I would like to welcome everyone to First Grade! Mrs. Wendy and I are very excited about the year ahead. We are here to teach and guide your child through an awesome year of learning new things. It will be a busy year, but you should see great successes along the way! I love to watch these children grow as they move through first grade. In order for this year to be a success, we will need your help at home. Reading with your child is such a special time in their lives, and yours. Help them as much as you can without doing too much. Let them become more and more independent and they will show you something amazing. I also expect my students to behave and use their manners during the school day, especially in class. Learning takes hard work, but it can be fun if managed properly. Your child will know exactly what I expect of him/her each day. Always remember, if you have questions all you have to do is ask. I am glad to help in any way possible!
