Welcome to Mrs. Highsmith's Social Studies class!! I teach three 8th Grade GA Studies classes and one 7th Grade Social Studies cltass. I am excited about this year! Our classes will do a lot of hands on activities and small projects.
I have been married for 28 years to Ronald Highsmith. I have three children: Ryan (24), Breanna (21), and Brooke (20). I attended Echols County schools all 13 years of my elementary and high school years. I went on to college, married, was a "stay at home mom" before coming back to my alma mater to teach.
I have lived in Echols County my whole life. I am a member of Wright's Chapel United Methodist Church in Echols County. I love to take "get aways" to the north GA mountains or any beach!
